Soon It Will Be Cold Enough

简单用一句话来概括，这是一个19岁的大男孩制作的超过其年龄的优秀专辑。主人公Emancipator包办了其中的键盘、吉他、采样以及后期，而女声和提琴则出自于另外两位朋友的协助。

毫无疑问，这张专辑背后的看点很多，不过大多是用来给媒体八卦打兴奋剂的；而音乐本身和它带来的感觉，则是对我们这些听众来说更值得关心的东西。

关于其风格，网上有些零星的介绍，基本上是不假思索地照搬某西方作者的叙述'jazz, electronica, trip-hop and down-tempo'的混合体。其实，通盘听完，并没发现所谓jazz，trip-hop和down-tempo的影子，倒是觉得'indie+new age+electronica'更为恰当些。只是这个年轻的主人做得比前辈们巧妙很多，既不像indie的小爱小伤，也没有new age的浓妆艳抹，更避免了电子乐的冰冷。

他对音乐的处理也不同于现在的流行风格。年轻人中，闹腾点的不允许心绪不能表达，尽量弄出些释放能量的音乐；内向型的则低头看着自己脚丫子，掰着指头妮妮喃喃说点小心思。用Emancipator自己的话来说，他的确很'老成'，懂得过犹不及的道理，时刻闪亮着机灵劲却又保持含蓄沉稳，不温不火，像葛优一样总是让人意犹未尽。

尽管音符和节拍在耳边跳动，但其创造的氛围确是幽静而浪漫的。就像身处大山深处的某个湖畔，安详得没有狂风暴雨，也不会烈日炎炎，只是微风中偶尔溅起几点水花，飞过一群小鸟，走来一对麋鹿，不时地眼前一亮，很快又归于平静。
