Singer-songwriter Matt Duke released his debut Rykodisc album Kingdom Underground in late 2008, which contained a thoroughly engaging collection of eleven intelligent, literate folk-based pop songs that exude a unique playfulness while tackling some often weighty topics.



Whether with tenderness, torment, or turbulence, Matt Duke renders each of his songs as if its emotional content is as fresh and new as the moment he first experienced it. He is, quite simply, a natural.



Acoustic Kingdom Underground EP is the companion piece to the brilliant Rykodisc debut by Matt Duke, Kingdom Underground, which shows a more intimate performance and look from some of the standout tracks from this release.
